The Chernobyl disaster, which occurred on April 26, 1986, leaves irreparable wounds in the hearts of millions of people around the world. This event has become a symbol of the greatest man-made disaster in history and reminds us of the dangers of nuclear energy and the importance of safety. Every year, when another anniversary of the tragedy approaches,
people unite to honor the memory of the dead, celebrate the feat of the liquidators, and
remind themselves of the need for vigilance amid the growing threats to nuclear safety in connection with a full-scale invasion.
Students of the SOС-31 group, mastering the methodology for conducting extracurricular activities in
chemistry, ecology, and natural science, held an event for junior students on May 25th,
“Chernobyl Tragedy Remembrance Day.”
This event is aimed at raising awareness of the consequences of the event and its impact on people, the environment and future generations, and will allow for a deeper understanding of the causes and consequences of the accident. The anniversary of the accident is a reminder to us of the importance of safety, of our obligation to future generations. Only through constant remembrance and study of history can we prevent similar disasters in the future.
