The defense of the thesis of future chemistry teachers is not just a result of many years
of educational activity, but also an important step on the path to professional development.
This stage determines the readiness of our students for teaching, demonstrates their
competence, knowledge and ability to apply in practice the theoretical principles of pedagogy,
and implement the main tasks of the New Ukrainian School. The students’ thesis reflected their
individual approach to solving certain pedagogical problems, innovative methods and teaching
aids that they planned to use in their future professional activities. During the defense,
the students confidently presented the results of their research, argued their conclusions
and proposals, and answered the questions of the commission. The public defense of the works
showed not only deep knowledge of the material, but also oratory skills, the ability to
interact with the audience, and quickly and adequately respond to comments and remarks.
The grades that students received for defending their thesis are evidence of the high
level of training of future teachers, their professional maturity and readiness for teaching
activities, for new challenges and achievements in the New Ukrainian School.
