On Friday, September 11, 2020, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical online conference “Pedagogical innovations and tools of modern chemistry teacher” was organized by the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Education of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and the public organization ” LIKO Educational Innovation Workshop “. More than 500 chemistry teachers from all over Ukraine registered to participate in the conference. The speakers of the conference were Svitlana Novikova, Head of the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment, Maria Savchyn, Professor of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Education of the Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, and Methodist Winter, as well as associate professor of environmental chemistry and chemical education Lilia Midak and graduate students Yuri Pakhomov and Christina Buzhdygan. The conference participants had the opportunity to discuss the problems of modern chemical education, especially in the context of distance learning, and to share experiences of using modern educational technologies in chemistry lessons.
