STEM girls

Today we received good news. Yulia Shkulipa, STEM Girls Coordinator at the CSR Development Center, sent a certificate confirming that Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University is a valid branch of STEM Girls in 2021. Ms. Julia expressed support and encouragement to our branch in the following words: “We are once again pleased to congratulate you on the confirmation of the status of the branch Girls STEM 2021!Last year brought us a lot of challenges, but you continued your activities despite the obstacles and together with us helped increase the number of girls in STEM! Your activities inspire us and confirm that we are moving in the right direction! It is YOU who are helping to achieve our common dream – more girls in STEM and the destruction of gender stereotypes! And only by joint efforts can we achieve this together! We are extremely happy that you continue to implement STEM approaches in your school and involve girls in the STEM movement. And we, STEM Girls, will try to support you in every possible way and do even more useful and inspiring activities for you and for the girls? ”
It will be recalled that the STEM Girls branch at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University has been actively working and implementing STEM approaches since 2019, the branch of the branch was the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Education with a working group of young, active and STEM girls:

Natalia Belova , Associate Professor of Geography and Natural Sciences;

Oksana Glodan , Associate Professor of Anatomy and Physiology of Man and Animal;

Olesya Vlasiy , Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics and Teaching Methods;

Halyna Voitkiv , Associate Professor of Physics and Teaching Methods;

Iryna Malakhova , Head of Laboratories of the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Education;

Oksana Sabadakh, a specialist in the computer class of educational laboratories.
